Residential Interiors — Brooklyn

Rooms that hold up to the way you actually live.

June Harper Studio designs full-floor apartments, brownstones, and country houses for clients who want their home to feel like the most considered thing they own.

Minimalist living room with fireplace

The studio takes on a small number of residential projects each year, working closely with clients from first walkthrough to the last throw pillow.

June founded the practice in Brooklyn in 2022 after years inside a larger firm. Today the team of four works primarily on full-floor apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn, historic brownstones under renovation, and weekend houses in the Hudson Valley. Projects typically begin at three hundred thousand dollars.

The Studio Approach

Quiet rooms are built slowly.

Minimalist dark interior detail

We’re not interested in rooms that photograph well for a month and then quietly disappoint you. Our work is meant to be inhabited, repaired, added to, and lived in for years.

  1. First visit & fit

We meet at the property, walk through how you actually use the space, and decide together whether we’re the right studio for the project.

  2. Concept & direction

Initial palette, plans, and material direction. This is the stage where we push back and ask the hard questions.

  3. Sourcing & specification

Custom pieces, antiques, trade-only sources, and the occasional thing we’ll fly across the country to see in person.

  4. Installation & styling

We handle the build-out alongside your contractor, then stay through styling so the room lands the way it was drawn.
